The goal of our semester-long project was to create a 3D environment of our choosing using the Maya program. The room was to represent a period in time with a specified place and role in history. We were to consider architecture, furniture, and objects of the time period to fully convey them.

I chose to create a DJ studio for a DJ in the 1970s, when DJing was really taking off. Inspired by the environments of the Netflix show The Get Down, I aimed to create the DJ studio of a young person living in the Bronx NYC area.
